The new iOS 7 brings an updated multi-tasking view for switching between your running apps, but it also silently changed the method used to completely quit & close out your apps running in the background.

If you’re anything like me, you like to be able to fully exit your apps to help free up memory, improve battery life, or to just get out of an app that has become unresponsive.

iOS 7′s new method to completely exit your running apps (and prevent them from running in the background) is even easier than iOS 6′s, although it isn’t immediately obvious.
